Seeking for sponsorship

Dear friends. Sorry that I missed to update my blog. We have left Karakurum and now back to Islamabad to visit friends and doing some administrative matters before we make a move to Iran, which will be a larger country for us to cross.
We are now staying in my friend’s home. He father had 10 children. 8 of them are girls and they are at about the age of 20s. Sam loved them as they are like our classmate. We could communicate well and we would chat everything under the sky.
Sam and I noticed that our funds were getting low and we are moving very slow. We had spent many days in Pakistan and spent most of the fund on this Hope Too due to its incompetency.
We would seek your kindness gratitude to support our fund by purchasing the souvenirs that we had gathered.
Also we are looking for sponsorship for our lodging in India, which the invoice and bills of our stay had been consolidated. For our lodging sponsor, you will recive all my lodging invoice of India and a Pakistan key chain at a rate of SGD$297.00. The items had been sent to Singapore to a friend for safe keep.

The second item for sale is the Silk route T-shirt, which I only see in Hunza, karakurum. It shows the map of karakurum and it is a rare piece of t-shirt. We are selling it at SGD$100.00.

We thank your support in reading our blog and will update on the way to Iran.

islamabad

friday, 11 april, we travelled one shot from besham to islamabad. a 260km road took us 8hrs. only stop twice for break. went to get Hope Too's second engine oil and oil filter change. that means i have already travelled 10000km so far. i went to Sohail's workshop for the oil change but he refuse to collect $ from me.

im back at Umer Abbasi's house. his father has 10 children, 8 females and 2 males (umer and amir). the rest of the 8 sister, 6 of them are at home and Sam is happy with them. we are very curious about each other. here, we are extending our visa as the one month validity has ended on 15 april. we were advised to collect our passport only in 7 days time and then we can proceed to iran. meanwhile we will go back to pagwadi, mr Muna;s home for a visit for a few days before coming back to islamabad to collect our passport.

recived a sms from Sam Leong 2 nights ago regarding bomb blast in Iran. well, will take note of it.
also i had cooked my Chicken rice successfully with Sam Leong's assistance. i would need the most important thing now, which is the chilli sauce recipy.

thank you

we would like to thank Mr Sim tien Leng and Adrian Low for their donation in our RTW fund. i do not know mr sim in person but he had support in our trip in his way.

Adrian has been a supportive mate since my NS days. now everymorning i still could recall his voice calling for 'AREA CLEANING NOWWWW...'

we would also like to meet up with them when we are back to Singapore.

thank you Mr Sim and Adrian.

End of Karakurum

we reached Sost, the nearest town 2 Khunjarab. the china-pakistan border only operates from 1st may onwards thus there are no vehicle traveling from the border to Sost. therefore, no work done on the highway. Hope Too were not allowed to enter that last stretch due to safety concerned by the officials. we hired a 4WD jeep n we witness that the road is really not cleared. the jeep go into some ice skating ring. very very cold place! it was an isolated border. we were escorted by one of the security force up to the border.

it was a dream since i read micheal peter fong's book ten years ago. i saw their photo and till 2day, it is like a dream. they are one of the motivation to our trip. would like to thank them also!
